Blogging with Shane

Blogging with Shane is my little place on the Internet to share all things pertaining to scripture and especially Christ!  Above all, what a blessing that is!  In spite of our many failures, Christ desires to use us all and, again, what a blessing that is!

Please join me on this journey and read through some of the thoughts God has put on my heart recently!  Hopefully it will prove to be a blessing as well as an encouragement. These thoughts come from my daily bible reading time and I’ll try to always post on a weekly basis.  Sometimes my schedule will delay that just a bit, but I’ll always do my best to post consistently.  Also, please be sure to let me know what you think in the comments section.
Again, thanks for stopping by Blogging with Shane and don’t forget to discover your future or to see my other ministry if you haven’t yet!  Happy reading my friends and, please remember, you are so very loved by Christ!  For that reason, always praise Him as He is so very worthy!  Always!

Discover Your Future: Learn How Exactly!

To elaborate, do you know that Heaven will be your home when this temporal life is over?  I believe the most important thing we can come to know is that Heaven is our home when we die.  The only place to go for this information is the Bible.  The Bible is the complete authority on this matter.

The video above provided powerful verses that show the clear path to being saved.  Sin separated each of us from God.  As a result, we each must have a day in our lives where we have placed our trust in Jesus as our personal Savior.  John 1:12 reads: “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.”  What a powerful truth!  It just takes believing!

Discover Your Future: Choose To Receive Him Today!

Do not wait another second!  Don't risk your future any longer.  If you understand you’re a sinner and need to be saved, call out to Christ to save you.  In addition, place your trust in His Death, Burial and Resurrection and you will receive the Holy Spirit and be free from sin!

Pray something like this: “Dear Lord, I confess that I am a sinner and I need to be saved.  By faith, I call upon Your name.  I believe You are the Savior of the world, and that You died for me, shed Your blood for my sin and arose from the dead.  I turn from my sin and receive You right now as my Savior.  Thank You Lord for saving me.  Amen."

Discover Your Future: Did You Pray That Prayer?

Did you take a moment to pray the example prayer above or one similar to that?  Did you accept Christ into your life and acknowledge Him as your true savior?  If so, please know that I'm thrilled for you.  I'm also very excited to see how God starts to work in your life as the process is different for everyone.  Above all, just know your salvation is secure if you prayed that prayer and meant it in your heart!

Jesus transforms hearts and yours will be no exception!  Open your heart fully.  Likewise, prepare it for change.  That is to say, allow Christ full access to it.  The results are truly amazing!  Again, I can't say it enough, I'm so happy to know you've made this choice!  It's a forever decision.  Praise God for that truth!
