Psalm 69:1-3 reads as follows:

“Save me, O God; For the waters are come in unto my soul. I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me. I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: Mine eyes fail while I wait for my God.”

These days are real and maybe you’re navigating them right now. Consider for a moment what God wants from each of us, no matter what we are going through today. He is worthy of our praise. We are waiting on our God. Waiting is not easy and we see this truth often in the Bible. Todays reading from David is one of those times.

Look up my friend! God is there and here with us if you have been Saved. Accept that we are flawed and can’t comprehend just how awesome the God we serve is yet. But it is true that this life is as a vapor compared to eternity. We have a hope from God and that’s Jesus Christ. Jesus has it all under control and has big plans for us so just wait on Him my friend. Try to be fruitful today no matter where or what you’re going through. Lift up Jesus!
