John 15:1-5 reads as follows:

I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

John 15:11-14 also reads as follows:

These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

I always seem to find myself in AWWW when reading God’s word. To see the actual words of Jesus penned for us to have within our own hands today. Do we think of the cost some paid for the scripture to be passed on for us to have? I know for a fact people have been put to death because they have printed the Word. They had a calling to bear fruit that they would not see. Do not let yourself stumble if you don’t see the outcome. That doesn’t mean that nothing happened. I believe more happens that we will not see than what we are able to see.

Be one who decides to abide by the TRUE VINE

We should love people no matter what they look like or what is in their past. People see Christ through us and, without compassion, many times we can’t make a difference. When the time comes to stand when the world says to sit, be that one to make the difference for truth and righteousness. When others see you stand it just may give them the assurance that the feeling they’re feeling is right such that they stand with you. Even if others don’t stand, remain faithful to God no matter what. God is faithful; man is not. Stand on His promises and know we are not of this world. Only by God has His word remained! It condemns this world yet remains! AMEN!
