1 Kings 8:17-19 reads as follows:
And it was in the heart of David my father to build an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel. And the LORD said unto David my father, Whereas it was in thine heart to build an house unto my name, thou didst well that it was in thine heart. Nevertheless thou shalt not build the house; but thy son that shall come forth out of thy loins, he shall build the house unto my name.
I’m not good at waiting when it comes to getting something done. This can be a problem for all of us. We must ask God to help us daily to fulfil His will. We must ask Him what He wants to be accomplished in each day we’re given. My goal should be to please Him and not be so concerned with what man may think or want. As long as it’s what God wants, I’m on the right track. Even when it’s so out of the box that it absolutely looks crazy to others. If God said go and do, don’t let what man thinks stop you. God will provide in His timing. Where God guides He provides.
Maybe it’s time you move for him!
This last weekend I spent a couple days in Port Aransas, TX with my family. I stayed on top of the weather for days and the forecast kept showing that it was going to rain all weekend. It was pouring down the entire 6 hour drive there and, upon arriving to the rental, there was no change in the forecast. I had been praying that we’d have good weather so I didn’t want to hear that as I knew God was more than able. Despite the forecast, it was nothing but sun and nice weather the entire trip. God is able my friend to do the unthinkable and just maybe it is your time to move for Him.
