Luke 8:46 reads as follows:

“And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.”

When we receive Jesus we receive His virtue as well. This is not to say we are the same as Jesus, but we do have something we didn’t have before. Often we don’t consider ourselves being powerful or even different from this world. That said, if this diseased and suffering woman could receive His virtue and be healed, we can as well. Never quit reaching for Him and never forget we should be different than this world.

We see exactly what Jesus does for the unbelievers and mockers. They are removed from the places and the times that Jesus allows His virtue to be extended. We don’t want to be put out when it comes to Jesus, and He will never put us out if we have truly accepted Him as savior. Walk and talk worthy to be called a Christian. Maybe today you need to repent of some actions that you took or things you may have said this weekend. It is never to early to recognize this need as His children and turn from our wicked ways.
