John 4:23-24 reads as follows:

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

I remember talking with a dear brother in Christ and him explaining to me that God lead him. He specifically led him to stay still and not go or do anything but read the Word and pray for three days. He was seeking direction and, to hear him explain it, you would think he went to Hawaii because he was ecstatic talking about it. I have only had a few times that I can say I resemble what he was telling me. One was when I was recovering from surgery on my vocal chords and could not speak for two weeks. I would never try to imply those were the best of times. That said, the moments of being in the Word and allowing the Spirit to flow was absolutely amazing. It led to life changing thoughts and actions taking place during that time.

God reveals Himself in His ways and we must recognize sometimes it is in the most unexpected situations. Still, never lose sight that if you will remain in His Word and pray, the times will be yours to share and God will get the glory. I believe many times Christians think that their life is no different than before Christ. I say at the top of my voice YOU ARE DIFFERENT! The Holy Spirit does not dwell with the unsaved but with the truly Born Again. We are indwelled with the Spirit and the power and life changing ability is only through The Spirit. Do not live another day thinking that you’re not important. We are very important and, once we are saved, we are soldiers of God. That is the true reason we are here. Our purpose is to reveal His truth.
